‘Viacom’s MTV is launching its first subscription-based OTT linear channel in Asia.
Viacom International Media Networks Asia said Wednesday that it has signed a deal with Hulu Japan, controlled by HJ Holdings, to launch a subscription-based OTT linear MTV channel, which will be called MTV Mix.
The agreement was unveiled at the APOS entertainment industry conference in Bali, Indonesia. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.’
